I love traveling, backpacking worldwide is my passion. This is what brought me here. I love reading blogs to get inspired for my next trips, getting acquainted with countries that might be less traveled, trying to understand the culture better in advance. And I prefer to source information on blogs rather than Instagram or other social media. 

So, who am I? I am Mara Fee aka travelmarafee, from Cologne, Germany, currently living in Milan, Italy and studying International Management. Even though I love to involve myself in the business world, I love traveling and exploring the world even more. Traveling is what makes me rich as a person. It is where I source all my energy from and where I put all my money in. 

Often, I consider myself as a solo-female backpacker, however, I equally much enjoy traveling with friends, which is why you will find itineraries for traveling alone, with friends and special remarks for solo female backpackers. Anything is possible!

So far, I have traveled to 74 countries, most of them in Europe and Latin America, but also in North America, Asia and Africa. Nonetheless, I try my best to be on the road or in a plane as often as I can. So this is my attempt to inspire people to travel, make countries more accessible and help to give an overview about potential itineraries. This includes taking away the fear of traveling into unknown cultures and countries, exploring places you never knew existed before. Therefore, I am working on accumulating travel itineraries across the world, #travelitinerariesbymarafee.
